Frederick, MD, July 7, 2016: The U.S. Chamber of Commerce recognized SOLDIERFIT, a military-inspired fitness franchise with locations throughout the DMV, as the Eastern Regional Winner during their annual DREAM Big Small Business of the Year Awards. SOLDIERFIT was honored with a Blue Ribbon award for placing in the top 100, making it to the top 7 finalists honored at the America’s Small Business conference in Washington, D.C.
With the Eastern Regional winner plaque firmly placed on the desk at headquarters, the SOLDIERFIT team of Danny Farrar and Dave Posin are hitting the pavement… literally. The duo have taken on opening their 4th corporate location, calling Rockville, MD home to the next Fort soon to be bustling with black hat trainers motivating dozens of new “troops”.
The next SOLDERIFT gym will be located at 12241 Nebel Street, Rockville, MD. The 10,000 square foot facility offers an array of niche fitness opportunities including military-inspired boot camp, personal training, and a functional fitness gym. The motto “pride, not ego” is apparent the minute you walk in. As most gyms are starting motivational Monday and covering their expansive mirrors to boast a friendlier, judgment free zone, SOLDIERFIT has been doing that from the start.
SOLDIERFIT’s franchise model has taken off now offering a total of 7 gym locations. Corporate locations include Columbia, Md., Gaithersburg, Md., Frederick, Md. and the soon to be Rockville, MD. SOLDIERFIT Sterling opens this Saturday, July 9th and boasts the first Virginia Fort. The new location features 10,000 square feet of workout space, including a 5,000 square foot athletic turf field offering over 300 basic training classes each month. Franchises in both Silver Spring, Md. and Annapolis, Md. are slated for later this year with more to come.
The grand opening of the Rockville, MD location is anticipated for August.
